He Waits 12 HOURS to Text Me Back- Is That Normal?

NO. Unless, it is due to a job. That needs to be communicated before hand and the fact that you have been talking for 2 weeks and that hasn't come up is a problem. I would say jump ship, but I gave some other information especially for guys going through the same thing.
